Welcome to the Shuswap Cardiac Society’s T.O.R.C.H. Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
T.O.R.C.H. (Thompson Okanagan Rehabilitation for Cardiac Health) is a comprehensive, medically supervised program designed to support individuals recovering from cardiac events or surgeries.
Our mission is to empower participants to take charge of their health and well-being through structured exercise, education, strong community, and personalized care.
We believe in building an inclusive community where everyone can come together, support each other, and share their journey, even though each program is individually progressed.
Whether you’re just starting out or nearing the end of your rehabilitation, you’ll find a welcoming space to connect with others who understand your experience and encourage each other toward better heart health.
Program Overview:
- Personalized Rehabilitation: We tailor each program to meet your individual health needs, whether you’ve recently experienced a heart attack, bypass surgery, angioplasty, or other cardiovascular condition.
- Supervised Exercise: Our professional team ensures that all exercises are safe, effective, and beneficial for heart health.
- Educational Support: We provide resources and workshops on heart-healthy living, including nutrition, stress management, and medication adherence.
- Partnership: Partner with other health care groups such as CMHA and QuitnowBC.

Membership Pricing
- Membership is $100 annually.
- Membership can be purchased online or at our facility.
- Once membership has been purchased members can come to our office to pick up a membership card.
